Mary Ellen Stanley: Principal / Grade 2-

Mary Ellen has been working in the Conval District for 20 years. While working as an aide at FES she earned her teaching degree from Keene State in 1994. She earned her master's degree from Antioch New England in 2002. She taught fourth grade in Greenfield for seven years. She lives in Peterborough and has three grown children and three grandchildren. Mary Ellen enjoys gardening, quilting, reading, kayaking and the outdoors.

Adine Aldrich: Kindergarten-

Mrs. Aldrich has taught at FES for twenty-twoyears. She graduated from Keene State College in 1986. She lives in Hancock, NH with her husband, two active boys and her new dog, Calhoun. She loves the outdoors, cooking, running and children. -

Janet Archer: Title One-

Mrs. Archer has a BA degree from Wheelock College in Elementary Education and a master's degree from Sonoma State University in Psychology. She taught kindergarten for 13 years before becoming a Reading Recovery teacher 10 years ago. When not teaching children, Mrs. Archer teaches yoga and meditation to adults. She lives in Antrim with her husband, 3 dogs, and 2 cats-

Peg Bissell: Grade 1 -

Mrs. Bissell studied Elementary Education at North Adams State College in Massachusetts, graduating with a Bachelors in Education degree. She graduated from Lesley College in 1995 with a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Creative Arts in Learning. She taught Kindergarten in Francestown for 9 years. In September 2002, she began teaching first grade. Pegie loves most outdoor activities, especially kayaking, biking and hiking.-

Laura Doell: Grade 4-

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Mrs. Doell grew up in the city. She earned her BA in Elementary Education and in French at ULowell. After teaching in Lowell for over a decade, she acquired her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State College. She has taught at Conval for 20 years. Mrs.Doell has four children ranging in age from 17 to 32. The Doell family resides in an antique home in Townsend, MA. Pets include cats and a golden retriever. Mrs. Doell enjoys gardening, sketching, Tai Chi, dabbling in various fiber arts, and reading, reading, and more reading.-

Harriet Ford: Administrative Assistant-

Originally from Massachusetts, Harriet moved to New Hampshire in 1976. She worked in the Hillsborough school system for eleven years and has been in Francestown for twenty-one years. Harriet lives with her husband of 46 years in Hillsboro and has three terrific children and nine wonderful grandchildren. The newest addition is her great granddaughter, Cailin. Her interests are swimming, scuba diving, reading, boogie boarding and walking. -

Lynn Forsyth: EST Assistant-

Mrs. Forsyth graduated from Plymouth State College in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She taught first and second grade for thirteen and a half years prior to moving to Greenfield in 1983. She began working for the Conval School District in 1988 as a substitute teacher. Later, she worked part-time as a tutor, then became a full-time aide in 1994. Her hobbies are acrylic painting, photography, tennis, kayaking, skiing and reading . She also enjoys traveling to far away places. She lives with her husband and dog in Greenfield and has one daughter living in California.-

Frank Gorecki : Custodian -

Frank lives in Antrim with his two sons and his wife Colleen, who drives a bus for the Conval School District. He has worked for Conval for eight years. He likes to ski and go snowmobiling-

Laura Patterson: EST Teacher

Laura is excited to for her second year at FES. She earned her undergraduaten degree from Keene State College in Elementary Special Education and Theater. She currently lives in Milford and enjoys participating in community theater productions when she has free time. Laura is currently pursuing a master's degree in Reading and Learning Disabilities from Rivier College.

Kim Heald: Grade 3-

Born and raised in the Midwest, she is a Keene State graduate and has been teaching in Francestown since 1990. Her graduate degree is from Antioch New England. She has experience teaching all grade levels. Her favorite age always seems to be the one she is teaching! In her spare moments, she helps run a small farm at home. She and her husband Gary, have a few of many different animals and sell milk, eggs and meat. -

Nancy Houlihan: Instructional Assistant

Mrs. Houlihan has been a resident of Francestown for 28 years. She has a BA from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. She was the Bixby Memorial Library's children's librarian for 7 years before taking her current position at FES. Her interests include reading, skiing, hiking and canoeing. She lives in town with her husband Bill and her three daughters and her dog Zoe.

Robin King: Classroom Aide -

Mrs. King and her husband live in Bennington. She has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys reading, old movies and golf.

Our Specialists: We have many specialists who come to our building each day and work with students in K-4. -

Art- Monday- Mrs. Bell

Physical Education is on Tuesday and Thursday Mr. Palmer is the teacher.-

Library is on Wednesday; Mrs. Tenney is the teacher.-

Music will be on Fridays with Mr. Parshall

Our school nurse, Mrs. Messer teaches health on Thursday during the First trimester.-
