Effective school-parent communication is a cornerstone of educational excellence. Open lines of communication between parents and teachers will ensure the best possible educational outcomes. At Peterborough Elementary School, we have developed several ways of maintaining contact with students and parents: A newsletter from the principal's office keeps parents informed about ongoing school-wide initiatives and about issues that are not grade- or classroom-specific. Here are some recent newsletter highlights: Grant Funded School Beautification Projects Classroom newsletters are published on a regular basis to inform parents about curricular issues in a particular class, about upcoming events, such as field trips, and about grade-specific educational enrichment opportunities. For personalized communications, parents may choose to contact classroom teachers or educational specialists on an individual basis. Please use our staff directory to find out contact phone numbers and e-mail addresses. For coverage of Peterborough Elementary Schools in the local press, please click here. |
