Creating Positive Change/Teen Center:
What: Small Jobs
Where: Teen Center, Grove St.

Sam Lafortune is executive director. 924-4981. They can use students to help with small jobs. Other events will be posted for Teen Center as they arise.

Peterborough Recycling Center
Where: Peterborough Recycling Center
Contact: please call Scott Bradford, manager at 924-8095 to schedule a time. He would like at least one day notice.
Hours: Recycling Center is open 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
What to bring: you need to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts recommended (not good clothes), work boots or old high top sneakers (no flip flops), bug spray, hat and work gloves.

Pheasant Woods/Harborside Healthcare:
What: Activities with patients
Where: Pheasant Woods Nursing Home.

Service Learning Hours: negotiable
They need ongoing students to volunteer to do activities with patients, help transport them, bring them outside, etc… Must have application filled out by parent, TB test, obtain a badge from Harborside office. See Susan Davis, 924-9091, for application or call Eileen or see Mrs. Tourgee.

Summerhill Residential Assisted Living
What: Activities with patients
Where: Summerhill Retirement Home.

Service Learning Hours: negotiable
They need ongoing volunteers to help with patient activities. Must have application filled out by parent, TB test and would have an orientation to attend and then make a schedule of when you would like to volunteer and the things you would like to do. Where: Mariposa Museum, Main St.

They can use students to help make origami that is handed out to customers for free. Other events will be posted for the Mariposa.
