Primary Election 2008
Upon arrival at the Town Hall voters are asked if they would like a blue (Democrat) or pink (Republican) ballot. After receiving the ballot of their choice they go behind the curtain into the booth to choose the candidate they are voting for.
Privacy is important so closed ballots are given to the Town Moderator who puts them in either the Republican or Democrat ballot box.
Bruce Kullgren, Jr., the Temple Town Moderator took the time to explain the voting process. He told the children that after the voting booths close he has to remain until all of the votes have been counted. Thanks Bruce!
These Temple students are now knowledgeable about the democratic process and will hopefully be anxious to vote when the time comes.
