| Leah Kristin Dahlgren is a very talented oil painter who lives right here in Temple. She visited on January 4th and spoke to the students about how she became an artist and showed them the process she goes through in her creations. Leah Kristin answered the many questions they had about what it's like to paint for a living and how she got started. She related that she began to draw at age three and still uses the box that she received when she was eleven, which contained her first set of oil paints. The children were fascinated by her work and inspired to try their hand at their own masterpieces. |
