Every year the Temple Elementary School joins the Temple community in celebrating the Harvest Festival. Fourth graders make their famous butter crunch and harvest vegetable soup which sell like hotcakes.

This year the kindergarten class made corn pins and pumpkin bread. First grade made cookie and brownie mixes and harvest doilies. Second grade made miniature book necklaces. Third grade made chocolate lollipops, Rice Krispie treat pumpkins, and brownies. Fourth grade made stuffed black cats and pumpkins, pins, harvest vegetable soup, and of course, butter crunch. Parent, teacher and student volunteers help man our table throughout the day. The Harvest Festival is a wonderful community event for young and old alike.
