Lita Judge, an award winning author, visited Temple School and we couldn't have been happier. She is a talented speaker who encouraged our students to remember this time in their lives as everything she has written has been taken from events in her childhood. For the adults present she motivated us to look at our childhoods through new eyes and revisit the wonderful memories we all have. Lita shared her incredible life of growing up in Alaska with parents who were soil scientists and a grandmother who was an ornithologist. Although she planned to be a scientist she eventually chose illustrating and writing as a career. Her visit was truly inspirational and will remain a highlight of the Temple staff and students.
