The whole school learned about Mexico this year as one of our "whole school" learning celebrations. What a great time we had! All classes participated in and contributed to the learning experience and on April 12th the students presented what they had learned to their parents and friends. The PTO began the evening event with chili, nachos and churros dinner, which was delicious. The audience was taken on a PowerPoint "field trip" created by the fourth grade with the "tour guides" making frequent stops at interesting places so that all classes could perform. It was a wonderful night of song, dance, artwork, an original play, information and even an erupting volcano. Take a few minutes to enjoy the pictures of an incredible evening celebration of learning.
