Olive Bourque, Emily Willard and Phyllis Mazza, members of the Miller Grange in Temple visited on February 5, 2004 to present dictionaries to the third grade class.
This program was started by a woman in Savannah, Georgia who thought that every child should have the tools to learn. She began donating dictionaries to local schools and her actions caught on with others. In New Hampshire, the cause is being carried out by local Granges thanks to a generous sponsorship by New England Business Services, Inc.
The Temple Elementary School third grade students are grateful to the Miller Grange and New England Business Services, Inc. for their participation in this supportive program.
